Lufthansa Technik AG is currently seeking an Aircraft Data Specialist in the area of Aircraft System Engineering for our location in Budapest. This area is responsible for supporting aircraft owners in maintaining the airworthiness of their aircraft in accordance with the European regulation EASA Part-M and also offering additional engineering services. At our location in Budapest, particular focus is placed on technical data and documentation as well as the airplane type Boeing 737.
You will undertake the following tasks as an Aircraft Data Specialist:
- Evaluate event-related flight data according to the approved order scope; document recognized deviations and initiate corrective measures
- Evaluate Aircraft Flight Data Recorder data from flight operations incidents according to requirements as well as support customers in investigations and in the initiation of corrective measures
- Create, program and maintain aircraft-related master data in the related recording software
- Secure functionality, availability and development of the Aircraft Flight Data evaluation system
- Maintain and optimize the Aircraft Flight Data evaluation software as well as create search routines
- Define, install and configure new Ground Support Equipment System in consultation with the system engineers and the manufacturer, carry out and document system updates; synchronize required functional and quality-related measures
Your profile
- University degree in electrical, mechanical or aeronautical engineering or completed vocational education and experience as a licensed maintenance mechanic (EASA Part 66 CAT B1.1 or B2)
- Engine mechanic experience is desirable
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and aeronautical legislation
- Excellent English and Hungarian language and computer skills
- German language skills are an advantage
- Good analytical skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and strong personal initiative
- Ability to work in multi-site teams
- Ability to do shiftwork and have a high level of endurance
- Open to business trips abroad
